Book bag
I’ve been going to the library a lot lately to rent reference books for my proofreading business. I like to test out some of the more expensive ones to see if they’re what I need before I commit to buying them. I’d love this cute book bag to carry my haul home in, but your favorite book lover could also use it for grocery shopping or running errands.
Bookmark
I’m not a big fan of turning down the page to keep your place in a book. I’m ok with a little corner turned down, but some people turn half the page down. Complete madness! Who’s with me on this one? If your bookworm feels the same way, then a bookmark might be a good stocking stuffer idea. I think this green leather handmade bookmark is beautiful!
Kindle Paperwhite
I switched to a Kindle Paperwhite a few years ago and haven’t looked back. If you’re looking for a more substantial present, this would be a great choice. Having all their books on a Kindle saves so much space in a small apartment, and they can never lose a book because it’s stored in the cloud. Perfect if they’re fed up with lending books to friends and never getting them back or getting them back looking like they’ve been dragged through a hedge backward. Can you tell I’m not a big sharer? 😊
Reading light
The Kindle Paperwhite above is so useful for reading in the dark because it has a built-in adjustable light. If your favorite bookworm is adamant about sticking with paper copies though, then a book light might come in handy. No more fights over wanting to leave the light on when the other person wants to go asleep.
Winter nights reading by the fire
Is there anything cozier than snuggling up on the sofa and reading a book by the fire? Help them set the scene with this beautiful soft throw blanket and this book-themed cushion.
Or reading in the bath…
Reading in the bath sounds like the most luxurious way to unwind, but what if they get the book wet? This bathtub caddy will help organize everything they need to relax in the bath with a good book without getting it wet.
Book Bucket List Scratch-Off Poster
Have you ever seen those scratch-off posters of the world where you can scratch off all the countries you’ve visited? Well here’s one for 100 classic books your book lover needs to read!
Book cover prints
Another lovely gift idea is some art to hang on the wall in their reading nook. Cartaban Cards on Etsy makes beautiful prints featuring quotes on antique book pages. See if you can find a quote from their favorite book or if you can’t find it, ask the owner Javier if he can make a custom quote print for you. My favorites include this Betty Smith quote and this Shakespeare quote.

Fancy copy of a classic
Ok, ok. I had to include some books! This edition of Little Women is too beautiful to pass up. This book would look amazing on their bookshelf or coffee table as well as remind them how great classics can be. The beautiful cover illustration was done by Anna Bond, the artist behind world-renowned stationery brand Rifle Paper Co. Other titles include Heidi, A Little Princess, and Anne of Green Gables.
Harry Potter Cookbook
Any Harry Potter fans in the house? Now you can dine á la Hogwarts with these 150 easy-to-make recipes!
Subscription to a book club
If you want to get them an extra special present, then consider getting them a monthly book subscription box. This is the gift that keeps on giving! Cratejoy has lots of different subscription packages so you can tailor the box to their specific tastes whether that be romance or thriller. You can even sign up for a book and tea/coffee combo club with Bookishly Book Club on Cratejoy.

Book voucher
You also can’t go wrong with an Amazon gift card, especially if they primarily use their Kindle to read books. Let them choose their own books. Perfect for the fussy book lover!
